OZx (pronounced Aussie-X) is the collaboration of scenery designers that began life under the auspices of the FTX Freeware Development Team. The invigoration of a new name and our own dedicated site means we are able to develop and refine our skills and techniques in an environment that is removed from those intense pressures associated with commercial scenery releases. However, as a group, we still remain committed to the success of the OrbX Full Terrain eXperience ideals, and as such we will be doing our utmost to ensure the scenery we release will install without conflict and blend properly into FTX. OZx has released the new and ultimate version 2.0 of the Grand Canyon and KGCN airport, that we enriched including also the new version of 10 mt Holger’s mesh that extends the coverage also out of the photoreal scenery, to correct some graphical bad issues previously encountered. To download your copy please visit the download area of our website.

OZx has released the photoreal scenery of Mexico City and surroundings! For the first time, and for free, we have the opportunity to fly above a very interesting and a very big area of Mexico. The photoreal technique that has been used to realize the scenery includes animated water for all the areas, swimming pools included.... the resolution of the scenery is 1m/pixel, almost the maximum we can obtain now, and it runs with FSX SP2 only. For the moment the scenery hasn't got autogen and you can fly only in the daylight. These features will be available in the next version, but we are sure that you will enjoy the scenery as well, in this first version. It can be downloaded by clicking here.

OZx has just released an addition to the original OZx 1.0 airfield scenery pack, lots more small airfields, some with AFCAD some without, sure to bring you hundreds of hours of exploratory fun flying in the Blue and Gold regions of The Great Southern Land please visit the download section to get your copy.

With these 5 paints added to the library it means that OZx now has more than a 100 files in the library, not a bad effort for just under 3 months is what I reckon :)
